Show Notes

We continue this excellent conversation with JC, Lenya’s neighbor and fan of the show.

JC recommends the HBO documentary [Exterminate all the Brutes](https://www.hbo.com/exterminate-all-the-brutes) but warns it is not an easy watch about all the ways we still have slavery in this country.

The conversation spans a wide breadth of topics including the housing costs of LA County, to how a middle class person can afford housing, to religion as a salve for the sting of impending death.

Racism in War

Where is the line between breaking the law and being a crappy person? That’s just the first thing on the agenda today.    Lenya and Alexandra are together again and the conversation goes from sexual assult on social media, to Bill Clinton and abuse of power, naturally, and transitions to Formula 1, Star Trek, and the war on Ukraine.   Events like these can bring to light a lot of racism that we all just live with and think is the norm, until the flashlight of light-skin elluminates the evils we have all accepted.    --   Please **rate and review** this podcast if you enjoyed it; reviews greatly help new listeners see this podcast is worth their time.
